DAVID AHLIJAH

David has worked throughout Africa in Geology, Mineral Exploration and Mining industry for over 15years, His experience covers project generation and reviews, resource definition, grade control and open pit mine geology. He has led numerous exploration and mine geology teams in Africa. He has worked with Rio Tinto Iron Ore(Simandou Project, Guinea), BHP Billiton World Exploration(Nimba, Bomi East and Wologis Projects, Liberia), Newmont Gold Ghana Limited( Ahafo Mine, Ghana), Gold Fields Ghana Limited(Damang Mine, Ghana) and AngloGold Ashanti(Iduapriem Mine). David is highly skilled in exploration management and production for gold, iron ore and variety of commodities with a strong skill set in resource modelling, grade control, logging, sampling & QA/QC, selective mining, rigs management and safety.

David Holds a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Geoscience from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is also a certified project management professional(PMP) from Project Management Institute(PMI), USA.
